Bernard

A native of Tioga County, New York, residing in the Hamlet of Apalachin and a seasonal Resident of Jefferson County, New York with a Satellite Office and home in Cape Vincent. Mr. Perkosky received his Associate Degree in Civil Technology from Broome Technical Community College in 1968 with extensive experience in all aspects of the Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering fields since 1966.

Mr. Perkosky is a Registered Architect (RA) and Licensed to practice Architecture in the State of New York. He is a member of the Building Officials Association of the Southern Tier and the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce and he was a former member of the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce and the Sacketts Harbour Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of AIA and SNYAIA along with being a former member of the Tioga and Sackets Harbour Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Perkosky is a member of the Local Southern New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (SNYAIA) and served as its former Treasurer for the Chapter for several years.

Instruction & Certifications

He responds to Professional and Community affairs and has served as a part-time Instructor in courses related to Architecture at Broome Community College and has held a position as a Certified Building Inspector III and Code Enforcement Officer for two municipalities in the Tioga County area throughout his career.

Family

He has raised his family with his wife Carole since 1966, which includes three children and continues to enjoy them and his seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
